Bespoke Nutritional Advice to support your Health Goals. Why wait?

Brain And Body Nutrition

Why Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional Therapy is much more than just dietary advice!!  I aim to identify the root cause of symptoms or health conditions.  I look holistically at my clients, making connections between symptoms and putting the pieces of their health journey puzzle together for them.

This joined-up thinking and way of supporting the body is hugely beneficial and something not offered in current allopathic medicine.

The process involves taking a very detailed health history over 75 minutes, creating a timeline of events, establishing known or potential triggers, and identifying mediators prolonging the symptoms/condition.

After the initial consultation, I will provide an action plan, encompassing:

  • dietary guidance

  • lifestyle advice

  • any recommended supplements if needed

  • functional tests if relevant

  • helpful handouts if relevant

  • next steps

Functional Testing

Testing is never required in order to work together and some tests can be done with your GP or via the NHS.

I have significant experience in analysing a range of health tests: including those involving: serum blood draw, finger prick blood test, urine test, stool test, saliva test.

Testing can give us another level of information about the body, on top of symptoms and can sometimes help steer treatment options.

Supplements:

Supplements are not always necessary and of course are never ‘required’.  They do however provide the opportunity to offer therapeutic doses of specific nutrients, in cases where nutrient deficiencies may be playing a role in a client’s symptoms.

Unless there are genetic or individual reasons, supplements are always short term, with a specific role to play.  Discounts are available.
